How I Work With You
The willow in my practice’s name says a lot about how I see change. It stays firmly rooted while adapting to what’s around it. Healing isn’t always predictable. It can bring progress, doubt, rest, and fresh growth. With understanding, real connection, and the right support, you can become more resilient without losing yourself. In session, I’m collaborative, compassionate, and honest. I look at how relationships, earlier experiences, family systems, and nervous system responses affect you now. That helps us spot patterns and find practical changes that last. I may use CBT, EMDR, family systems work, nervous system healing, and inner child and reparenting work, including for online trauma therapy. I hold a Master of Social Work from Winthrop University and full LISW-CP and LCSW licenses in both Carolinas. I’m also a licensed LCAS in North Carolina. My EMDR-Trained Psychotherapist certificate is from the Trauma Therapist Institute, an EMDRIA-approved provider. I want you to feel comfortable, respected, and free of judgment, as you work toward a balanced, authentic, and fulfilling life.
